We had a amazing outreach last month feeding the homeless in New Orleans. We had 36 volunteers and fed about 120 homeless friends some great food. We had 6 tables full of some delicious home-cooked food. We also passed out clothes, prescription glasses and books and had the opportunity to pray with them and listen to their stories. We want to thank our volunteers that God has SO blessed this ministry with. Cliff and I cannot thank ya'll enough and want you to know how much we truly appreciate you and your loyalty to these precious people. I had a homeless man tell me this past month that he looks forward to us coming down there every month because he knows we really care about them. He said that our volunteers are truly sincere in serving them and that their smiles and listening ears gives him hope in this dark world. You do not know how much you are blessing these precious people just by showing up every month with your smiles, love, kind & encouraging words and delicious home cooked meals.
